Note From Miles

In a recent sermon series, called “Image Is Everything,” I encouraged Christians to not conform to our culture. Instead we need to be transformed by God through Jesus Christ. Especially young people! Every day society attacks kids—and we need to stand up and be the kind of people who will love them, pray, and hold them accountable to biblical standards.

Think of the kids in your life. Ask God to show you how you can bless them this month. Each one of us can make a difference in someone's life! Please continue to pray for our ministry—and consider being a part of our Miles Ahead crusade in Jamaica. It's going to be blessed, mon!

Prayer Corner

Please pray for:

1) Pastor's conference in Jamiaca, January 24-25.

2) The leadership of the Jamaica Crusade as they launch the planning process and form their teams.

3) The finances needed for the Jamaica Crusade.

4) The staff as they help coach the leaders on the ground in Jamaica.

5) Future Ministry opportunies.

6) Mentors working with our mentoring alliance.

Jamaica Update

We're making progress on plans for the crusade April 25-May 5 in Montego Bay! We're still helping community leaders to mobilize the local church. In January we will hold a national pastors' conference, bringing together pastors from all over Jamaica. We believe the Lord will use Miles and Andrew Palau to bless the pastors of this nation. The theme is “Innovative Evangelism and Cultural Relevance.”

As we have shared before, the needs in Jamaica are significant. Poverty, crime, prostitution, AIDS—these and other issues make growing up in Jamaica a challenge.

Let's ask God to use our efforts to change Jamaica! Lord willing, more than 150 people will come to Jamaica with Miles Ahead Ministries, to serve during the crusade. Consider being one of them! To learn more, click here.

Belize Update

In the next month we hope to finalize dates for a pastors' conference in Belize. Our relationship with Belize began in February when Miles was invited to speak at a youth conference in Belize City.

We met with leaders and ministers who shared what they face in their city weekly. Miles has been invited for the same conference again in February. We hope to be able to launch our pastors' conference in a significant way through Miles' opportunity in Belize this February.

Future Cities

We are exploring potential ministry opportunities in other Caribbean locations, in Canada, and in three U.S. cities. If you have a heart for your city, or know leaders who desire to bring Miles to their community, please contact us for more information.

Support Us On a Monthly Basis

Miles Ahead is completely dependent on financial support and donations from the Christian community. We need your prayer too! Please consider making Miles Ahead part of your monthly giving. We strive to use every dollar to make a difference in seeing young peoples lives changed by the transforming message of the gospel. To donate to Miles Ahead please click here.
