Note From Miles

Another year has arrived and I am very excited and prayerful about the evangelism opportunities the Lord will give to us in 2008. God is opening doors for Miles Ahead and we are committed to bringing the gospel to young people in San Diego, America and the world.

Thank you for standing with us in our mission to reach the youth of today. At this time of year many people have made new year’s resolutions. Can I ask you to seriously consider taking time to pray on a regular basis for our work and join us in making a significant Kingdom impact? The enemy of our souls does not like what we are doing and we need faithful prayer warriors to pray for this ministry to keep us on the cutting edge of making a difference.

On January 24 and 25 I will be speaking at two one day pastors conferences in Montego Bay and Kingston, Jamaica. These conferences are being held in partnership with Luis Palau and the theme for our time will be Innovative Evangelism. We are anticipating 200-400 pastors during these two days. Pray that God will speak to these pastors and that this time will be a huge blessing to them. Specifically pray for me as I try to share some key principles in reaching young people. These conferences will be a part of our church mobilization strategy in Jamaica for encouraging churches to participate in the crusade on May 2-3, 2008 in Montego Bay.

Remember, its not too late to join us in Montego Bay April 25- May 4. Please consider coming to do ministry with us. To learn more or to sign up, just visit us at www.milesahead.com and click on the Jamaica link.

Thanks for your prayers and your financial support. We cannot do this without you.

God Bless,
Miles

Jamaica Update

January 23 and 24 will be key dates in Montego Bay and Kingston Jamaica. Two day one pastors conferences are being planned under the theme Innovative Evangelism. Miles along with Luis Palau team members will have the opportunity to speak to 200-400 pastors and leaders.

These conferences will in essence launch the crusade in the churches in Jamaica. Please keep these days in your prayers. Pray for good communication with leaders and for a good response to these conferences.

Plans are moving forward for the six ministry teams who will minister in Montego Bay April 25 - May 4. These six teams include sports ministry, children, school assemblies, medical clinics, community projects and street evangelism. To date we have almost 200 who are planning to be with us. We have committed to doing 6 medical clinics in Montego Bay and we will also do two community projects in two troubled inner city communities. Why not consider joining us and participating in seeing God at work in this great nation. For more information and to sign up, please go to www.milesahead.com

In response to a cry from pastors in the Heartland, Miles Ahead is developing a partnership with the city of Wichita, Kansas for a crusade in the spring of 2009. Dates will be announced soon and leadership will be established for this effort early in 2008.

We can only move forward in reaching youth in this nation and beyond with your prayers and financial support. The upcoming Jamaica crusade will cost $450,000. To date $100,000 has been pledged and we need your help to cover the remaining costs. Please consider a special gift towards this crusade as well as our overall operating budget for Miles Ahead. Please donate here.

Please pray for:

1) Pray for Pastors Conferences in Jamaica Jan 24 and 25.

2) Safety in travel for Miles and all who will participate in these conferences.

3) Needed Finances to be provided in a timely manner.

4) The hiring of a new crusade director.

5) Ministry teams to grow and for a real sense of anticipation for what God will do.

6) Development of future cities to partner with.
